Fees for False Alarms:
$150.00 per false alarm to be paid within 30 days of violation.
Where to pay False Alarm notices?
City Controller's Office, 300 N. High St., Muncie, IN 47305 (made payable to the City of Muncie)
Exemptions for Residential False Alarm Notices
If you are 65 or older you are exempt from false alarms, please notify the false alarm desk if you qualify either by phone at 213-6451 or email: falsealarm@cityofmuncie.com
How many false alarms am I allowed before I am billed for them?
If you have:
- 1 to 50 Alarm Devices:
- 2 responses per calendar year.
- 51 to 250 Alarm Devices: 6 responses per calendar year.
- 251 + Alarm Devices: 9 responses per calendar year.
